1. About these terms

These terms explain the rules for using our website, www.yslstar.com.my (the “Website”). The Website is operated by YSL WEALTH MANAGEMENT (registration no. 202103140845), trading as YSL Wealth Management (“TeamYSL”, “YSL”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. What the Website is for

The Website gives general information about YSL Wealth Management, our Wealth Planners, our services and career opportunities, and lets you contact us or apply through our forms.

  • The information on the Website is for general information only. It is not financial, insurance, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not an offer or a promise to sell you any product.
  • No agreement for any insurance or financial product is made through the Website. Any product is arranged only through a Wealth Planner, and is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurer or product provider for example, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad.
  • Please speak to a Wealth Planner about your own situation before you make any financial decision.

3. Our Wealth Planners

Our Wealth Planners are licensed agents of the relevant insurer or product provider. The profiles on the Website are provided by the Wealth Planners to introduce themselves. Experience, recognition and achievements shown are as supplied by each Wealth Planner. You can verify an agent through the official channels of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) or the insurer.

4. Using the Website

When you use the Website, you agree that you will:

  • give true and complete information in our forms, and only submit information that you have the right to share;
  • not use the Website for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading;
  • not try to damage, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems, and not send spam, viruses or harmful files;
  • not copy or collect information from the Website by automated means without our written permission.

Files you upload through our forms (for example a resume) must be your own, or you must have permission to share them.

5. Our content and ownership

The text, design, logos, photographs and other material on the Website belong to us or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Logos of insurers, partners and awards belong to their respective owners and are shown for information only. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, change, sell or reuse our material without our written permission.

6. Accuracy of information

We try to keep the Website correct and up to date, but we do not promise that everything on it is complete, accurate or current. Products, features and rules of insurers and regulators can change. Please confirm important details with your Wealth Planner and the insurer.

7. Links to other websites

The Website links to other sites (for example Instagram, Facebook and insurer portals). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Using them is at your own risk, and they have their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Availability

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Website at any time. We do not promise that the Website will always be available or free of errors.

9. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the Website, relying on its content, or being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. By continuing to use the Website after a change, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Malaysia.
